I whip web sites into submission, but I'm nice to everyone else.
Bridges Community Church in Fremont, California, had a new name and logo and was looking for a new web site. Their graphic designer had put together the design mockup and asked me to implement it. They added their own content to static pages using Microsoft FrontPage to save on costs. I also added database functionality, allowing the church staff to be able to update announcements, events, small groups, and even sermon archives with ease. A fun part of this project was creating a Flash component on the home page that could dynamically load images, linked images, or Flash movies. Finally, I also created a web-based project admin area for the staff to manage and track projects.
